Drill Operator

The Role:

Due to exciting growth, SRG Global Mining Services is looking for skilled Drill Operators to join our long-term Goldfields projects on various rosters on Dayshift and Nightshift.  What you’ll Be Doing:

• Operate hydraulic and pneumatic drill rigs as per OEM specifications.
• Complete drill holes to high QA standards according to client requirements.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs
• Maintain daily drill sheets and conduct pre-start checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and presentation standards are upheld; monitor drilling consumables and record wear rates.

What We’re Looking For:

• C Class Drivers Licence (Manual)
• A working knowledge of Sandvik Leopard and Sandvik DPI drills
• Pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol assessment

Bonus Points for:

• Heavy Rigid (HR) Drivers Licence
• Certificate III In Drilling Operations
• Dangerous Goods Security Card
