As the largest legal assistance service in SA, we ensure that South Australians have access to a trusted lawyer when they need help to be heard, and easy ways to learn about their rights and responsibilities, and service to answer any legal questions.
Each year 140,000 South Australians benefit from the services we deliver.
The Opportunity
Legal Services provides a range of legal information, advice, education and representation services based in our Adelaide office. As part of our development program we are offering paid Summer Clerkships for law students. This program provides an ideal introduction to a career in the legal assistance sector.

You will spend your first week experiencing a general introduction to the work of the Legal Services Commission and each of our divisions. You will then spend two full weeks in one of our core practice areas (Legal Advice and Information, Civil Law, Criminal Law or Family Law) and undertake a range of duties including:
Salary Range
ASO1 - Hourly Rate $29.97 per hour + 25% Casual loading
Term of Employment
3 Weeks: Monday 1 February 2027 – Friday 19 February 2027
