Architectural Draftsperson

NEWDECOR PTY LTD is a growing construction company based in Victoria, delivering high-quality residential, commercial and civil construction projects. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Architectural  Drafter to join our professional team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with engineers and project managers to prepare detailed Architectural drawings and documentation for various construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

 *Interpret architectural drawings, industry regulations and building codes;

● Create preliminary design sketches, construction working drawings and technical

specifications;

● Draft, revise and update architectural plans, site maps and design charts;

● Compile full document packages for tender, construction and as-built drawing

projects;

● Produce detailed schedules for doors, windows and material finishing works;

● Complete physical model production and digital 3D visualization rendering;

● Conduct BIM modelling, drawing documentation and cross-disciplinary

coordination;

Skills and Experience

 * Minimum 2 years' relevant drafting experience is preferred.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Civil 3D will be an advantage).

* Strong understanding of construction principles and Australian drafting standards.

* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Good written and verbal communication skills.
