About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Workshop Assistant & Delivery Driver to join our team.

A key part of the role will be preparing our flat-packed cabinetry for dispatch. This includes organising and palletising completed jobs, wrapping and securing loads, loading trucks and making sure orders are ready to reach our customers safely and in good condition.

You will also carry out local deliveries using our company vehicle and assist with general workshop duties when required.

You don't need years of experience to apply. We're more interested in finding someone who is reliable, willing to work, takes pride in what they do and is happy to learn.

What You'll Be Doing

Your day-to-day duties will include:

Palletising flat-packed cabinetry ready for dispatch

Checking completed jobs and products before they leave the workshop

Wrapping and securing pallets for transport

Loading and unloading trucks

Delivering flat-packed cabinetry to customers and job sites

Safely loading and unloading deliveries.

Assisting with cabinetry assembly and general production work when required

General workshop duties and helping other team members as required

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Current Australian C Class driver's licence

Reliable and punctual

Physically capable of manual handling and working in a workshop environment

Good attention to detail

Able to work both independently and as part of a team

Willingness to learn and help wherever required

A positive, practical attitude towards work

Highly regarded, but not essential:

Current forklift licence

Previous forklift experience

Previous delivery-driving experience

Experience working in a factory, workshop, warehouse or manufacturing environment

Experience with cabinetry, flat packs or similar products

About You

We're not necessarily looking for someone with the longest resume.

We're looking for someone who turns up, gets stuck in and takes pride in doing the job properly.

You'll need to be comfortable working in a physical workshop environment, handling flat-packed cabinetry and switching between different jobs throughout the day.

Some days you'll be preparing and palletising orders, some days you'll be helping around the workshop, and other days you'll be out making deliveries.
