Financial Crime Governance Manager (Operations)

As our Financial Crime & Fraud (FC&F) landscape continues to evolve, we're looking for an experienced Change & Transformation Manager to help shape and deliver critical initiatives across Financial Crime & Fraud and Financial Crime Operations (FCO).

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the governance, coordination and delivery discipline of a complex change portfolio, ensuring strategic, regulatory, operational and technology-driven initiatives are implemented effectively, sustainably, and with strong control outcomes.

About the role:

As the FC&F Change & Transformation Manager, you'll be the central point of oversight for all material change impacting Financial Crime & Fraud and Financial Crime Operations.

You'll work across business, operations, risk, and technology teams to ensure initiatives are appropriately prioritised, assessed, governed, and embedded. Your focus will be on ensuring change delivers its intended outcomes without creating unnecessary operational disruption, delivery risk, or control weaknesses.

This role sits at the intersection of risk, strategy, operations, and transformation, providing a unique opportunity to influence how Ubank evolves its Financial Crime & Fraud capability.

What you'll be doing Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining oversight of the FC&F change portfolio, including key initiatives, priorities, dependencies, risks, and delivery impacts.
• Establishing and managing governance frameworks for change reporting, decision-making, and escalation.
• Coordinating change impact assessments across operations, controls, risk obligations, and stakeholder groups.
• Supporting implementation planning, delivery sequencing, and operational readiness activities.
• Identifying and managing transformation risks, blockers, resource constraints, and interdependencies.
• Monitoring benefits realisation and conducting post-implementation reviews to ensure objectives are achieved.
• Ensuring alignment between change initiatives and FC&F strategic, risk, regulatory, and operational priorities.
• Partnering with stakeholders to ensure major initiatives are embedded effectively and sustainably.
• Providing clear reporting and insights to support executive decision-making and governance forums.

What you'll bring We're looking for a transformation professional who combines strong delivery discipline with an appreciation for risk, governance, and operational excellence.

You'll likely have:

• Significant experience leading or managing complex change, transformation, program delivery, or portfolio governance within financial services or a regulated industry.
• Strong understanding of change governance, implementation planning, operational readiness, and benefits realisation.
• Experience managing cross-functional initiatives involving business, operations, risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and manage delivery risks, dependencies, and competing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to drive alignment across diverse teams.
• Experience preparing executive reporting, governance papers, and portfolio insights.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Knowledge of financial crime, fraud, operational risk, or regulatory change environments will be highly regarded.
