Last Slice is coming to Kelmscott and we're looking for top-notch Waitstaff, Bar Staff and Shift Managers to join our team!

Positions Available

Shift Managers

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring the seamless operation of the day to day shifts, including tasks such as coordinating bookings and other related preparations
• Manage the displays to play the most relevant sporting events in the correct areas
• Ability to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and maintain quality beverage service
• Accurate stock maintenance and verification of all incoming inventory items
• Strong cash handling skills
• Resolving day to day customer issues
• Management of staff during the shifts, including ongoing training of new and existing staff
• Promote the venue and attract new customers
• Ensure compliance with OH &S and RGL policies

Applicants Must Have:

• A current Approved Manager Card, Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate & Hospitality Hygiene for Food Handlers certificate
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication
• Passion for sports and an understanding of the sports bar environment
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Full work rights with no restrictions
• Able to work evenings and weekends, including public holidays as required

Bar Staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality service and create a positive work environment
• Ability to prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
• Promote the venue and attract new customers
• Strong cash handling skills
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
• Monitoring stock levels and re-stocking the bar as needed
• Ensure compliance with OH&S and RGL policies

Applicants Must Have:

• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate & Hospitality Hygiene for Food Handlers certificate
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication
• Passion for sports and an understanding of the sports bar environment
• Self-motivated, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Full work rights with no restrictions
• Able to work evenings and weekends, including public holidays as required

Waitstaff/Junior Waitstaff

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests, serve food & drinks, handling customer inquiries
• Process orders and payments accurately, using POS systems
• Maintain cleanliness and ensure food safely in dining areas and bar
• Maintain strong communication with kitchen and bar staff and restock supplies
• Assist colleagues and help to train new staff when needed

Applicants Must Have:

Hospitality for Food Handlers certificate

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Positive attitude, reliability, and multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment

Physical stamina, basic menu knowledge, and attention to detail

Full work rights with no restrictions

Able to work evenings and weekends, including public holidays as required
