Food and Beverage Sales Person

Motor is a neighbourhood wine-fuelled, wood-fired Wine Bar/Bistro in the heart of Glenferrie Road. We are looking for a Section Waiter/All Rounder to join the team at Motor. We offer a shared style menu cooked in a wood-fired oven with a diverse wine list to match.

About the Role
We are looking for a full time Food and Beverage Salesperson to join our tight and professional front of house team. You’ll run your own section, provide genuine hospitality, and work closely with a tight-knit team to deliver smooth, memorable dining experiences. We’re after someone who brings a polished yet relaxed approach to service

What We're Looking For:

• A minimum of 1 years experience in a similar role

• Experience working in the bar with classic cocktails preferred but not compulsory

• Strong food and wine knowledge – or a passion to learn

• Comfortable managing a busy section with confidence and composure

• Professional, reliable, and genuinely enjoys looking after people

Located in the heart of Glenferrie Road, Hawthorn in a 110 year old Motor Garage, we use wood fire cooking to celebrate fine produce that pair well with wine. Wine and food are our passion and the core of what we offer. Our list highlights rare and iconic classics alongside up and coming stars. We also have a strong desire to enhance guest experience. We are an energetic, warm and friendly team that thrives off sharing knowledge.
