Motorbike Delivery Postie

We are on the lookout for reliable hard working and physically fit Motorcycle Delivery Postie to deliver in Moggill and Bellbowrie.

What the work entails:

Starting at 5:30am, sort the mail and parcels and get them ready for delivering in the Post Mail Centre. Operating a motorcycle to deliver parcels and letters across your route. Dealing with customers as you go along. Also using an electronic GPS device to record parcel delivery details. Completing the run!!

Previous experience as a delivery postie is highly valued but not essential. However you will need to be someone who can navigate and have fast recognition skills when it comes to reading addresses on mail and parcel articles.

Suite someone who is settled and needs ongoing stable income

Flexible small family business payment options for right candidate – Base $1 500 to $2 000 per week with potential substantial additional income.

Requirements:

Be able to pass Post Fit2Work/police check

Valid Australian Motorcycle license with confident riding skills

Valid Australian Car License

Own transport to and from work (suit someone on western side of Brisbane/Ipswich)

Willing to do longer hours if required to get job done

Be physically fit - Cannot stress enough that physical fitness and mental fitness is a must. Operating bike for 5+ hours a day at times can be to much for most. It can be mind numbing work…

Be able to lift the occasional heavy item from the ground

Willing to learn mapped areas

Be willing to work in hot sun

Be willing to work in the rain at times…

Be able to work by yourself
