Production Operator

Our client an industry leader in leading raw material and ingredients distributor is currently seeking a Storeperson based in Wetherill Park,

Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm

What you will be required to do:

• Pick raw materials in preparation for batch manufacturing of liquid chemicals.

• Mix chemical blends to specified concentrations by pumping liquids and dissolving powders in solutions.

• Operate filling equipment to package chemicals into containers ranging from 5 litres to 1,000 litres.

• Safely handle and manually lift bags weighing up to 25kg.

• Working outdoors, in pants and long sleeves and off course PPE).

• Operate a forklift for safe movement of raw materials and finished goods.

• Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free production area.

• Complete required paperwork accurately to ensure compliance with production and safety requirements.

• Adhere to safe operating procedures and workplace safety standards at all times.

To be successful in the role you will need to have: 

• Previous experience in a similar hands-on role, preferably within chemical or manufacturing industries.

• Current Australian forklift licence (LF).

• Physically fit and comfortable with regular heavy lifting.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in following procedures and completing paperwork.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a production team.

• Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
