About the role
The Service Administration & Compliance Officer will assist with the day-to-day administration of disability services, with a particular focus on rostering, Supported Independent Living (SIL) compliance, participant documentation and staff follow-up. You will work closely with the Senior Service Manager and provide practical administrative and compliance support across Kingaroy services.
Key responsibilities
Assisting with preparing and maintaining staff and participant rosters.
Identifying roster vacancies, overlaps and potential coverage issues.
Contacting appropriate staff regarding available shifts where required.
Entering approved roster changes and keeping rostering information up to date.
Completing routine SIL compliance checks using Bunya Care checklists and procedures.
Checking participant and household documentation to ensure required records are current and appropriately completed.
Identifying missing information, signatures, dates or documents requiring follow-up.
Following up staff regarding outstanding documentation and routine compliance requirements.
Scanning, uploading, filing and maintaining participant documentation.
Maintaining spreadsheets, registers and administrative tracking systems.
About you
Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities.
Strong attention to detail.
Confident following up staff and outstanding tasks.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Can work independently while following established procedures.
Comfortable checking documentation and identifying missing or incorrect information.
Understands when an issue needs to be escalated to management.
Confident using computers, spreadsheets and electronic record systems.
Reliable, proactive and able to take ownership of routine administrative tasks.
Understands the importance of privacy and confidentiality.
