Mechanical Engineering Technician

Responsibilities

The incumbent shall be part of the After Sales team and will be responsible for providing support in the project.

Duties

·       Adhere to safety standards all the time and ensure the optimum performance of automated multi shuttle fulfilment systems

·       Perform timely preventive maintenance on equipment using the proper tools.

·       Maintain and repair conveyor and mechanical handling equipment as needed.

·       Trouble shoot the equipment failure and replace defective parts when necessary.

·       Perform routine diagnostic checks and monitor the repairs.

·       Follow LOTO procedures during corrective and preventive maintenance.

·       Support the Engineers for operational projects that are aimed at improving efficiencies and output of the department.

·       Prepare root cause analysis report for any major failure to avoid recurrence.

·       Other reasonable duties as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications Required (Name tertiary qualification required) 

• Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical

Essential Skills Required 

• Electromechanical breakdown troubleshooting & maintenance

• Knowledge of the right tools, safety protocols, programming and control systems, blueprint and diagram reading

Employment Experience Required 

• Minimum 2 year of experience of technical support with the products of Addverb or equivalent products available in market
