We're currently seeking a full-time Cellar Hand to join our Wine Production team based in Bilbul, NSW. 

About the Role

As a Cellar Hand in the vintage & general cellar, you'll play a key role in supporting our winemaking process of taking grapes to juice to wine to pre-packaging. Working alongside experienced winemakers and cellar staff, you'll be involved in a variety of cellar operations while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety and efficiency are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career in the wine industry and gain valuable hands-on experience within a supportive and collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies, procedures and safe work practices.
• Carry out essential cellar operations, including fruit receival and transferring juice, must and wine.
• Operate clarification equipment such as centrifuge, rotary vacuum filter, and crossflow filter
• Operate juice / wine enhancement equipment such as falling film evaporator, electrodialysis, and reverse osmosis
• Operate cellar equipment such as crushers, presses, pumps and clarification equipment.
• Clean and sanitise tanks, hoses and cellar equipment to company standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Winemaking, Laboratory and Cellar teams to achieve production goals.
  

About You

You're a motivated and reliable team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. You take pride in producing high-quality work, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working in a hands-on environment. You'll have a willingness to learn and develop new skills, along with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work extended hours during vintage, including day and night shifts when required, is essential.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in the wine industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Current Forklift Licence
• Confined Space Entry certification.
