An excellent opportunity exists for an accredited and experienced driver who possesses good interpersonal and communication skills and can confidently work under minimal guidance.

The Role

The role is to drive a prime mover with several semi-trailer combinations around the Sydney metropolitan area. Driver will manage & coordinate weekly activity between 4 customers & 2 drop off locations.

The successful candidate will need to have a sound driving background with an HC or MC license. Able to work in isolation, not afraid of accountability & have good communication skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Operate the truck in a safe and consistently conservative manner.

• Ensure that the truck is well maintained and serviced.

• Accurate preparation of all delivery paperwork, including raising dockets & providing reconciled activity records.

• Managing weekly workflow of collections & drop offs with both customers & 3rd party delivery location.

• Must be comfortable with basic computer work.

• Monitor daily status emails from a customer that operates 24/7 to determine when to collect resin tanker.

• Unload resin tanker into Silo & then into bulk sacks once a week.

The Individual:

• Possess a strong output and “hands-on” work ethic

• Good organisational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Strong customer service approach with outstanding communication skills

• Appropriate NSW driver’s license for a semi-trailer with a sound driving record.

• Non Smoker

• Current Forklift license.

• Good attendance and punctuality habits

• Must have a “can do” attitude with flexibility
