Beleza School Uniforms is an Australian family owned and operated business based in the Southeast suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria. For over 40 years, we have supplied School uniforms to Public and Private schools ranging from Pre-School to Year 12 across Victoria and the east coast of Australia. About the Role:

We are currently looking for a part-time Retail Assistant to join the retail team based in our Boronia store. Minimum 14 hours on a regular week on set days between Monday to Saturday, however this may vary during peak seasons (back-to-school season and our November sale season), school holidays and covering leave for other team members.

We operate on a forward fortnightly roster to give visibility to team members regarding shift availability, with additional notice provided for peak season rosters.

Key responsibilities/duties would include (but may not be limited to):

• Opening and closing of the store(s)

• Processing of transactions using POS software and payment terminals. 

• Providing outstanding customer service

• Processing deliveries, maintaining tidy stock and storage areas

• Maintaining oversight of inventory levels and ordering stock as required

• Replenishing stock and displays and other general store duties
  

About You: Skills, qualities, qualifications, and experience

Our ideal candidate would possess the following attributes:

• Experience in retail and/or customer service is highly regarded

• Able to increase working days/hours across 6 days (Monday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturdays 10am to 1.00pm) during the year to support team members on leave and busier periods

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to communicate with others in a professional and friendly manner in both verbal and written formats

• Have access to their own transport with flexibility to travel to nearby stores to provide cover where required

• Ability to take/follow instructions but also take suitable initiative at times

• Well organised and great time management skills

• Neat and professional presentation with strong attention to detail

• Has a friendly personality with a can-do attitude

• Right to work in Australia

• Working with Children Check is highly regarded
