Your Role

As a part-time Army Officer in the Army Reserve, you’ll lead a team of soldiers on important missions, putting into practice the world-class training you’ll receive in leadership and informed decision making.

On completion of your initial military and employment training, you could earn at least $266/day tax-free.

The pay you receive in the Army Reserve goes straight into your pocket with no deductions for tax, and it increases as you gain seniority and experience. Additional amounts are paid for time spent on exercises and deployments.

Eligibility
For this role, you must:

• Be at least 17 years of age when you enter the ADF
• Have either completed Year 12 with passes in English and 3 other board accredited academic subjects that meet Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) requirements or be in your final year and on track to pass them all

• Be reasonably fit and healthy. Keeping fit is a big part of joining the ADF. You’ll need to pass a physical fitness test before you join, but don’t worry, we'll give you tips to help you prepare
• Be able to successfully obtain a security clearance
