A Bit About The Role
We are seeking an Administration Officer to join the Planning and Place Administration team. Reporting to the Coordinator Planning and Place Administration, your role is to:
Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing information and directing enquiries relating to Planning, Building and City Strategy servicesProvide administrative support across planning and building services, including application processing, documentation, notifications and correspondenceSupport community consultation activities and stakeholder communicationsWork collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality customer service and contribute to continuous improvement
About You
We're looking for someone with:
Knowledge of the Victorian Planning and Environment Act 1987, the Subdivision Act 1988 and/or the Building Act 1983, Building Regulations 2006 and Building Code of Australia and any relevant regulation would be an advantageExperience in the processing of planning and building applications. Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite and Pathway The ability to handle enquiries in a professional and customer focused mannerCustomer service excellence and sound communication skills
