SEAFOOD FILLETER

Join the amazing and hard-working team at our processing factory that has been operating in Victoria for over 30 years.  As a leader in the seafood industry, we supply some of the best restaurants & capering companies throughout Australia.

As our factory operates Monday-Saturday, the ability to work weekends is required.

As a Seafood Processor, you will work in a fast-paced environment, and you’ll assist with the processing and production of over 20 different species of seafood. Working in Fresh Seafood environment, you will assist with the processing and preparing fish by filleting, skinning, and portioning them according to specific requirements daily.    

A few things we require for you:

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment of up to 20 Seafood Processing members, 

• Must have full availability to work Monday-Saturday

• Reliable transport to get to work by the required start times

• A ‘can-do’ safety attitude!

• You must be able to provide proof that you have the right to work in Australia.

Your Duties Will Include (vary from day to day)

• Receiving and inspecting fish for quality and freshness.

• Strong knife skills and experience with various fish species.

• Filleting, skinning, and portioning fish based on customer specifications.

• Unloading/Loading stock from trucks and vans

• Picking and packing orders for production

• Maintaining OH&S and cleanliness of warehouse

• Chilling and storing away fish and seafood

• Ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards in the filleting area.

Our Offer to you:

• Up to $35-$40 per hour full time. Approximately $85,000 (Over Time allowances and all loadings applicable)
