Alcohol & Other Drug Clinician

About the role

WRAD Health, Alcohol & Other Drug Team, is a small number of professionals dedicated to making a difference. The team operates in a supportive and dynamic environment. We are passionate about the work we do. The Alcohol & Drug Team strives to make a difference. This is a full-time position in the Alcohol & Other Drug Service.

Key responsibilities

• One to one counselling, telehealth & phone counselling

• Make referrals where necessary

• Engage with clients who are referred through the justice system

• Work with people in a Dual Diagnosis capacity

• Maintain knowledge of the MS Office suite of Programs

• Maintain a Client Database

About you

• At a minimum, a qualification in Alcohol & Drugs

• Previous experience in the Alcohol & Other Drug Sector is an advantage

• Passionate about working with people to support them to achieve their goals

• Offer a service with a Harm Minimisation lens

• Ability to work within a team

• Current Police check and Working with Children Check or ability to obtain
