MacKellar is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team supporting Stockpile Dozer and Co-Disposal operations in the Moranbah region.

About the Role

As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment to support safe and reliable operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing maintenance, repairs and servicing on heavy earthmoving equipment
• Completing component replacements, overhauls and fault diagnostics
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
• Conducting daily inspections and refuelling activities
• Ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
• Working collaboratively with the maintenance team to identify and implement practical solutions

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter
• Post-trade experience within the mining industry
• Proven experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safe work practices and preventative maintenance
• Current Queensland Driver Licence
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team
