This is a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with notice in alignment with the applicable Award. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.
Central Coast Local Health District is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist 2 (CNS-2) to join the Brighter Beginnings Preschool Checks Program; an innovative initiative focused on identifying children’s health and developmental needs early and connecting families with the right support.
About the Opportunity
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will provide advanced clinical screening, assessment, early intervention and care coordination for children participating in the Brighter Beginnings Health and Development Checks in Preschool Program.
This position plays a key role in delivering early identification, intervention and coordinated care to support better health and developmental outcomes for children and families. In this role you will:
