About the Role
We are looking for compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team.
As a Disability Support Worker with CableTow Care, you will provide person-centred support based on each participant's individual needs, preferences and goals. You will help participants maintain their independence, engage with their community and live their lives with greater choice and confidence.
This is initially a casual position, with the opportunity to progress to a permanent/full-time role for suitable candidates as our organisation continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including grooming, toileting, meal preparation and medication support.
Encourage independence by supporting participants to take an active role in everyday activities and household tasks.
Assist participants with community access, appointments, hobbies, social activities and transport.
Support participants with complex or high physical support needs in accordance with their individual care plans.
Follow manual handling assessments, behaviour support plans and other relevant support plans.
Maintain participants' personal equipment and communication aids where required.
Advocate for participants while respecting their rights, dignity, privacy, choices and preferences.
Complete accurate progress notes, incident reports and other required documentation.
Maintain a safe, respectful, positive and enjoyable environment for participants.

Flexible and willing to work a variety of shifts where required.
Essential Requirements
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Home and Community Care.
Previous experience in disability, aged care, community services or a related field is highly regarded.
Current NSW Driver Licence.
Reliable vehicle with comprehensive motor vehicle insurance.
Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain.
National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module or willingness to complete.
Smartphone with reliable internet access and ability to use rostering and workplace applications.
Ability to meet applicable vaccination requirements for the role.
