About the role
Byrne Civil Group is a trusted civil construction company delivering projects across the Central Coast, Newcastle and Hunter regions. We specialise in subdivision construction, government infrastructure, commercial developments and structural concrete works. With a strong reputation for quality workmanship, safety and reliability, we pride ourselves on delivering successful outcomes for our clients and communities. As we continue to grow, we are currently seeking an experienced Formworker/Concreter to join our team.
As a Formworker/Concreter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing and preparing formwork for a variety of civil construction and structural concrete projects. Working as part of an experienced team, you will contribute to delivering quality outcomes across subdivisions, infrastructure and commercial projects while maintaining a strong focus on safety, teamwork and productivity.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Formworker/Concreter in the civil construction industry.
Experience screeding, placing and finishing concrete.
The ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans.
A strong work ethic and commitment to meeting project deadlines.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A current Australian Driver Licence.
A current White Card (WHS General Construction Induction).
A strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements.
