Truck Driver/Furniture Removalist

About the role

Brisbane Moving & Storage Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Truck Driver/Furniture Removalist to join our team in our Acacia Ridge, QLD 4110 location. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our clients' goods and furniture.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and driving articulated and rigid trucks in a safe and responsible manner

• Loading, unloading and delivering furniture and other household/office items

• Assisting with packing, unpacking, and handling of items with care

• Completing necessary paperwork and documentation related to pick-ups and deliveries

• Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the company's vehicles

• Providing excellent customer service to clients throughout the moving process

What we're looking for

• 2 years' experience as a Truck Driver/Furniture Removalist favorable but not essential

• Holds a valid Medium Rigid (MR) or above driver's licence

• Physically fit and able to lift and manoeuvre heavy furniture and equipment

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
