About the Role
This is a relationship-first role at the heart of how PEF keeps its donors close. You will own our existing donor relationships, run our marketing and communications, and recruit and manage our individual giving program, including direct marketing, Give Now, and workplace giving, with a revenue target of $100,000.

You will work closely with the CEO and a small, committed team. If you are the kind of person who makes supporters feel genuinely valued and stays on top of the detail that makes that possible, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit and steward PEF's community of donors, from onboarding through to renewal and recognition;

• Manage all existing corporate relationships;

• Support the CEO's major donor relationships through briefings, correspondence, and follow-ups;

• Manage mid-tier and corporate donor relationships directly;

• Run direct marketing campaigns, manage the Give Now Digital Marketing and Workplace Giving platforms assisting in growing PEF's individual giving pipeline;

• Draft the donor newsletter, social media content, scholarship promotions, and the annual impact report;

• Own the donor CRM day-to-day: processing, receipting, reconciliation, and reporting.

About You

• You are an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

• Experience in donor stewardship, membership management, or individual giving in a not-for-profit context

• Warm, relationship-first communication style with strong written communication skills across multiple formats

• Comfortable with CRM and donation processing platforms; Donorfy CRM experience an advantage

• High attention to detail and commitment to public education

• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, with the ability to farm across multiple corporate and private donors

• A high level of integrity, discretion and attention to detail

• Commitment to the mission of public education and advancing equitable outcomes

• Sense of humour.
