THE ROLE

The Branch Coordinator provides executive management support to the Chief Finance Officer and senior leadership team. The role provides a pivotal point of contact for key stakeholders from a diverse range of government, private, public and community service sectors. The Branch Coordinator is a key coordinating link between the Chief Finance Officer, the branch, the division, other divisions, government, ministers' offices and senior departmental management.

ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE

1. Provide high-level confidential secretariat and administrative support to the CFO including diary and calendar management, email, and travel management.
2. Provide a range of effective executive support functions, including: accurately managing the office's events diary; providing quality support to committees, working groups and meetings; and preparing reports, briefs and correspondence on complex issues.
3. Arrange meetings and conferences, including liaising with senior executives and government officials coordinating papers, organising venues, agendas, taking minutes and follow-up actions and making travel and accommodation arrangements.
