Veterinary Nurse

About the role

Nairne Vet is a family owned, fast paced clinic in the Adelaide Hills. We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our team in either a Maternity Leave Locum role or a Permanent Part Time position. The role is available 3–4 days per week, plus a rotating Saturday roster, supporting our team across general practice, surgery, inpatient care, and client communication.

Key responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care
• Support across general practice, surgery, inpatient care, and client communication
• Work in anaesthesia, surgical support, and patient monitoring
• Work autonomously and within a tight knit team
• Communicate effectively with clients

About you

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified nurse
• Passionate about providing exceptional patient care
• Calm, confident, and organised in a busy clinical setting
• Comfortable working autonomously and within a tight knit team
• An excellent communicator with strong client facing skills
• Experienced in anaesthesia, surgical support, and patient monitoring
• A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed
