Guiding Volunteer

As a Guiding Volunteer, you help patients and visitors by alleviating the stress of finding where they need to go around the hospital. Guiding volunteers greet people as they enter the hospital and either provide simple directions or walk with people to their appointments, to attend surgical bookings, or to visit loved ones.

We are looking for long-term volunteers to fill various 2 1/2 hour weekly shifts:
*Monday 1:30pm-4pm
*Wednesday, 8:30am-11am
*Wednesday 11am-1:30pm
*Thursday 8:30am-11am
*Thursday 1:30pm-4pm
*Friday, 1:30pm-4pm

All volunteers are trained and supported to learn the various hospital locations before starting their regular shifts. This is a rewarding role for someone who has good communication skills and enjoys interacting with and helping others.
