Senior Check Point SME – Technical Lead

We’re looking for a Senior Check Point SME to take technical ownership of complex firewall projects for a leading enterprise customer.

This is not a BAU support role. We’re looking for a senior Check Point expert who can independently lead projects from technical design through to implementation, migration and successful delivery.

You’ll become the technical authority for Check Point, working closely with customers, internal teams and stakeholders to provide technical leadership and help build capability in this space.
The Role

• Lead Check Point firewall upgrades and migrations from design through to implementation.
• Take end-to-end technical ownership of complex firewall projects.
• Lead technical workshops and discussions with customer stakeholders.
• Develop migration, implementation, testing and rollback strategies.
• Drive large-scale changes through formal customer governance and change processes.
• Provide technical leadership to internal delivery teams.
• Review existing environments, identify risks and recommend improvements.
• Provide solution design and technical advisory services.
• Build strong, trusted relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and project deliverables.
• Support complex production and DR migrations and cutovers.

About You
We’re looking for a senior Check Point specialist who can operate autonomously and confidently lead technical projects.

You’ll have:

• Deep, hands-on Check Point experience.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise firewall upgrades and migrations.
• Strong technical project leadership experience.
• Experience working directly with enterprise customers.
• The ability to lead technical workshops and influence stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of firewall architecture, security policies, routing and network security.
• Experience working through formal change and governance processes.
• Excellent communication skills across both technical and business audiences.
• The confidence to make technical decisions, provide recommendations and take ownership.

Highly regarded

• Check Point certifications.
• Palo Alto, Fortinet or Cisco experience.
• MSP, systems integrator or consulting background.
• Large-scale enterprise or data centre environments.
• Solution architecture or technical advisory experience.
