About the Team
At AEMO, our System Planning team plays a critical role in shaping Australia's energy future. Through forecasting, analysis and strategic planning, we help inform some of the country's most significant energy infrastructure and investment decisions.
Working alongside experts from across industry, government and AEMO, you'll contribute to a diverse range of projects that support the transition to a cleaner, more secure and reliable energy system. It's challenging, meaningful work with a lasting impact on communities across Australia.
About the role
As a Specialist Analyst, System Planning, you'll combine technical expertise with strategic thinking to help shape the future of Australia's energy system.
You'll lead the development of long-term forecasts, modelling and planning insights that guide major investment and policy decisions, while working closely with colleagues and stakeholders to turn complex analysis into practical outcomes.
This role offers a unique opportunity to influence nationally significant decisions, contribute to Australia's energy transition, and share your expertise by mentoring and supporting others within a highly respected and collaborative team.
This role can be based in any Australian capital city.
