The Meales Group is an industry leading concrete pumping specialist that operates Australia wide and offers the largest and most diverse fleet of mobile concrete boom pumps, stationary concrete pumps and separate placing booms in Australia.

EXPERIENCED candidates are a must due to the busy nature of our depot we require trained personnel only. We are looking for a motivated and hard-working individual to join our diverse team in our Darwin Depot. This position is a great opportunity to work in a supportive team. We are looking for Boom Pump Operators, the successful candidate MUST be willing to work long hours as this is a requirement of this position and have worked in this position previously. 

The Role

The position's primary functions include, but are not limited to:

• operating concrete pumping equipment, in accordance with safe work method statements and manufacturer specifications;

• Boom pump operator MUST be experienced

• MUST be willing to work long hours

• Operators - lead and monitor line hands and additional labour at each job;

• accurate completion of all relevant documentation, such as log books, delivery dockets etc.;

• meeting daily operational targets;

• maintaining high housekeeping standards;

• positively contributing to customer service and the generation of future business;

• general labouring duties, as required to assist the wider team.

Due to the nature of the work, hours will vary week to week, with varying start and finish times to suit project requirements. However please be aware this Depot is busy and doing large hours therefore the position will require this from the successful candidate.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

• Previous operator experience

• Current HR Licence

• Current Concrete Placing Boom High Risk Work Licence

• Construction Industry White Card

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

• Random Drug & Alcohol testing is mandatory & must be passed

• Hard working and motivated
