APE Medical is a sports medicine and rehabilitation wholesaler and distributor owned and operated by two sports physiotherapists with a dedicated team of 25 members.

We supply medical supplies to Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and allied health clinics, as well as a large number of sporting organisations including professional sporting teams. We also run a physical and web-based shop supplying rehab products direct to the public. Our retail shop, offices and warehouse are located in Osborne Park, just off the freeway.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role based in our retail rehab shop, where you’ll help guide both retail and wholesale customers to products. You’ll work under the guidance of our Customer Service Manager and alongside a highly collaborative and supportive team.

Hours: This is a part-time role but can extend to full-time for the right applicant. Flexibility in hours is available, though we’re ideally seeking someone who can commit to roughly 20-25 hours per week over a 3-day period

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment and genuinely enjoys helping others. As we operate in the health, medical, rehab, and sporting space so some enthusiasm for these areas is always a bonus. You’ll need to be organised, proactive, self-motivated, and work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serving retail customers and assisting with product selection

• Managing general customer enquiries

• Creating tax invoices, customer quotes, and sales orders

• Helping to facilitate the return of products

• Using EFTPOS to process payments

• Re-stocking shelves and maintaining product displays

• Supporting our Sales and Accounts teams with general day-to-day duties

Essential Skills & Qualities:

• Proven experience in retail or customer service roles

• A genuine passion for helping people face-to-face and delivering a great experience

• Ability to learn product ranges and provide informed recommendations

• High attention to detail and ability to multitask under pressure

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Competency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A friendly, positive, and proactive attitude

• Willingness to learn and grow with the role

Training: Product and procedural training will be provided.

Remuneration: The level of remuneration will vary, dependent on applicant's experience and skill set.

The successful applicant will be required to provide police clearance.
