About the role

We are seeking a People & Culture Officer to join Delonix Solutions on a casual basis, based in our Perth office. This role is fundamental to supporting our HR operations and delivering high-quality HR services to our staff and stakeholders. As a P&C Officer, you will play a key part in coordinating day-to-day HR activities, supporting recruitment initiatives, and ensuring compliance with employment legislation. This position is being offered on a casual basis, with a view to permanency for the right applicant.

What you'll be doing

• Processing recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and onboarding of new employees

• Managing employee records within our HRIS Employment Hero, ensuring accurate documentation in compliance with privacy and employment legislation

• Providing general HR administrative support including leave management, payroll coordination, and policy implementation

• Assisting with the development and delivery of HR initiatives such as employee engagement programmes, training and development activities, and workplace culture initiatives

• Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

• Maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating discretion when handling sensitive HR information

What we're looking for

• A relevant qualification in Human Resources

• 2+ years post-grade experience at HR Administrator/Officer level, preferably in a professional services environment

• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, workplace relations, and HR best practices

• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Employment Hero HRIS experience is advantageous to the role, however training will be provided.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels

• Attention to detail and accuracy when managing HR records and documentation

• A customer-focused approach with a commitment to providing excellent service to internal and external stakeholders
