Full-Time Yard Foreman – Greenwood

We are seeking a motivated and organised Full-Time Yard Foreman to oversee the daily operations of our yard in Greenwood.

This hands on role is responsible for ensuring the yard is organised, well-presented, safe, and operating efficiently. You'll maintain a clean, orderly, and easy to navigate workspace, with a standard comparable to a well managed trade hardware store.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the organisation and presentation of the yard.

• Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ensuring materials and equipment are available when required.

• Receiving, storing, and dispatching materials efficiently.

• Working closely with our site supervisors and trades to ensure jobs are supplied with the right materials at the right time.

• Coordinating deliveries and keeping inventory accurate and up to date.

• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment at all times.

We're looking for someone who has experience in a warehouse, trade supplies, or hardware environment and takes pride in keeping things organised. The ideal candidate will need be proactive, reliable, have excellent attention to detail, and enjoy working as part of a team.

The successful applicant will have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, trade supplies, or similar environment.

• Forklift license 

• Current drivers license

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Excellent English communication skills.

• The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.

• A positive, can-do attitude.

• The physical capability to perform the manual aspects of the role, including lifting and moving materials.
