Our client is a global market leader specialising in battery manufacturing and recycling. They are looking for a Store Manager to join their dynamic team at a busy store in Ballarat. About the role

The role isnt sitting behind a desk.

As a Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overll success of your store both in the showroom and warehouse.You'll work closely wihth your leadership team to create momentum, deliver outstanding customer experiences and acheive strong commercial results.

• Manage and drive incoming customer inquiries, workshop job management, instore sale and services to ensure all sales opportunities are optimised.
• Drive and conduct best in class customer service and sales management/ training to staff.
• Manage store staff in all aspects of - recruitment, performance management, training rostering, coverage, KPI reviews.
• Pick and Pack stock for the operation and load and unload vehicles as required.
• Good Communication and time management skills
• Be a back up to other store roles in a time of need.
• Be a hands-on Manager by actively participating in the workshop, front counter, sales arena, storage facility as the business model requires.
• Provide product and service solutions for the market including product testing and assessments.
• Provide the highest levels of service to customers, ensuring you maximise any sales opportunity.

To be successful, you will possess the following:

• Battery industry and fitting experience
• Strong people and customer service
• Well, presented, organised and reliable
• Self-Motivated, autonomous and flex
• Strong sales experience desirable
• Forklift license
