ESL teacher

Navitas English is one of Australia’s oldest private English language providers, and since its establishment in 1981 has hosted students from more than 100 different countries at its centres across Australia.

Casual ESL teachers required for a range of ELICOS courses including General & Academic English at either (or both) Brisbane CBD and Gold Coast campus locations 

Essential

• A degree or diploma of at least 3 years full-time or equivalent (teaching or other)
• A suitable TESOL qualification or qualification that contains TESOL as a method
• Experience teaching English as a second language

Desirable

• Experience teaching General English, exam preparation courses and Academic English
• CELTA qualified 

The person we seek will ideally have the following:

• Experience of teaching a range of programs and levels
• Ability to engage and motivate learners from diverse backgrounds, including younger learners
