As part of a national brand, we are a well-respected, Financial Planning Practice, based in Deakin, Canberra, which provides highly tailored, financial advice to clients, both locally and interstate.
About The Role:
Working in our offices in Deakin, as part of our close knit team of Client Service Officers, we are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Implementation Officer to assist our advisers with all post-meeting implementation activities. This role is responsible for ensuring client recommendations and administrative actions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
This position is ideal for someone who has a strong sense of responsibility, enjoys process-driven work, and is eager to develop a long-term career in financial services.
About The Right Person:
We will provide training, however previous experience in a Financial Planning firm or professional services is highly regarded. In return we are seeking someone who is well presented and articulate, with a professional “can-do” attitude and appearance, who is pro-active, friendly and outcome-focused.
Key Responsibilities
Manage implementation of adviser recommendations across investment, superannuation, insurance, and platform accounts.
Prepare and process forms and documentation for transactions and account changes.
Coordinate platform implementations and account maintenance requests.
Update Force and internal workflow systems to ensure adviser dashboards remain current.
Upload, organise, and maintain client documentation and records.
Assist with preparation and implementation of Statements of Advice (SOAs) and related documentation.
Monitor outstanding implementation tasks and follow up providers, platforms, and clients as required.
Ensure compliance documentation is completed and stored correctly.
Liaise with product providers and platform administrators regarding transaction progress.
Support advisers with administrative and operational requirements following client meetings.
Skills & Experience
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Ability to follow processes and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
Comfortable working with systems, workflows, and documentation.
Willingness to learn and develop financial planning knowledge.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Previous administration experience within financial planning, banking, superannuation, or professional services is highly regarded.
