Program Coordinator

AFLSQ is seeking an experienced, culturally grounded Program Coordinator to coordinate and deliver community-based programs across our service footprint.

This is a hands-on role combining program coordination, group and individual facilitation, participant engagement, referral and case coordination, community prevention activities and stakeholder engagement.

A key focus will be programs addressing domestic and family violence, including culturally responsive interventions supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men and fathers who use violence to take responsibility for their behaviour, develop healthier relationships and strengthen connections with their families and communities.

The role works closely with AFLSQ's Family Safety Worker, counsellors and other practitioners to ensure the safety and wellbeing of women, children and families remains central to service delivery.

The nature of the programs being delivered requires that the Program Coordinator is a male of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent.
