Currently, we’re looking for a Process Capability Lead to join our team and help drive process excellence, capability uplift, and business transformation outcomes across our client engagements.

Role Description

Process analysis provides the foundation for understanding business operations, customer journeys, systems, data, governance, and organisational change. The Process Capability Lead is responsible for establishing and maturing process management capabilities across client organisations.

This role provides leadership in process architecture, process governance, capability development, standards, methodologies, and quality assurance. The Process Capability Lead will work across multiple initiatives and stakeholder groups to ensure process management disciplines are effectively embedded and deliver measurable business value.

This role combines strategic thinking, operational excellence, consulting leadership, and people development. The successful candidate will lead complex engagements, mentor senior practitioners, and act as a trusted advisor to executive and senior business stakeholders.

Experience

• Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in business process management, process excellence, process architecture, or enterprise transformation roles.
• Demonstrated experience leading process capability uplift initiatives, including governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and operating models.
• Advanced knowledge of BPMN 2.0, process architecture, value streams, capability models, and process governance practices.
• Proven success leading process workstreams within large-scale transformation and enterprise change programs.
• Experience establishing or maturing Business Process Management (BPM) capabilities within complex organisations.
• Demonstrated ability to influence and engage senior executives and key stakeholders across business and technology functions.
• Strong consulting, facilitation, coaching, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing process analysts and senior process practitioners.
• Commercial experience working across multiple client environments and industries is highly regarded.

Accountabilities

The Process Capability Lead is accountable for:

• Leading process capability development across client organisations.
• Defining and maintaining process management frameworks, methodologies, standards, and governance models.
• Establishing and promoting best practices for process architecture, modelling, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Providing strategic leadership on enterprise-wide process transformation initiatives.
• Leading complex end-to-end process discovery, analysis, design, and optimisation activities.
• Developing and maintaining process architectures, value streams, and business process hierarchies.
• Implementing quality assurance and peer review practices to ensure consistency and compliance with established standards.
• Building capability through mentoring, coaching, and professional development of process consultants and analysts.
• Facilitating executive workshops and driving stakeholder alignment on future-state operating models and process outcomes.
• Identifying opportunities to improve organisational performance, customer experience, risk management, and operational efficiency.
• Supporting business development activities, proposal development, and client relationship management.
• Evaluating process outcomes and ensuring benefits realisation is achieved.

Technical Proficiency

The Process Capability Lead is expected to demonstrate advanced proficiency across the following areas:

Business Process Management (BPM)

• Deep understanding of BPM disciplines, operating models, governance frameworks, and maturity assessments.
• Expertise in establishing process ownership, process performance management, and continuous improvement frameworks.

Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN 2.0)

• Expert-level BPMN modelling capability, including quality assurance and standards enforcement.

Process Architecture & Enterprise Design

• Experience developing enterprise process architectures, process taxonomies, value streams, and capability maps.
• Ability to align process design with strategic objectives, operating models, and business capabilities.

Process Management Platforms

• Advanced proficiency with Signavio and other enterprise process management platforms.
• Experience leveraging process repositories, governance workflows, and collaboration features.

Transformation & Change

• Strong capability in linking process outcomes to business transformation objectives and benefits realisation.
• Experience supporting organisational change initiatives through process-led transformation.

Documentation & Collaboration Tools

• Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Confluence.
• Teams, Jira, Miro, and related collaboration platforms.
