Theatre Bookings Clerk

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Theatre Booking Clerk to join our Operating Theatre Department at Beleura Private Hospital.

In this role, you will support patients and the clinical team by coordinating theatre bookings, patient admissions and theatre administration functions. You will manage theatre schedules, maintain accurate records, communicate with key stakeholders and provide timely information to support efficient patient flow and quality care delivery.

You are a highly organised administration professional with excellent communication skills and a strong customer service focus. You thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment, manage competing priorities with accuracy, and are committed to supporting patients, clinicians and colleagues in line with Ramsay Health Care’s Core Values.

You will also bring:

• Previous experience in an administrative, medical reception or hospital administration role.
• Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with patients, clinicians, medical specialists and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Intermediate-advanced skills utilising the Microsoft office suite with ability to maintain data entry accuracy
• Experience using hospital information systems such as Meditech, Workplan and RevTeq
• Certificate in Medical Terminology (desirable).
• Previous experience within a healthcare environment, particularly theatre, surgical bookings or patient administration (highly regarded).
