Trailer Maintenance

GTS Freight Group (including GTS Freight Management, G1 Logistics, and G1 Refrigerated Logistics) is a national leader in linehaul transport solutions. With a fleet of 100 prime movers, over 500 trailers, and 35,000 sqm of warehousing, we’re known for our focus on service, safety, and compliance.

We are seeking a full-time Trailer Maintenance person to join our maintenance team, supporting the safe and efficient operation of our national fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect trailers and identify defects or worn components
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs under supervision
• Replace or repair parts including curtains, gates, toolboxes, lighting and more
• Maintain workshop equipment and cleanliness
• Complete service reports, timesheets, and repair documentation
• Adhere to safety protocols and report hazards

What We’re Looking For:

• Mechanical experience (trailers preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and time management
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Basic computer skills

No formal qualifications required, but experience in a similar role is desirable.
