Role Description

We are seeking an experienced SMSF Administration Supervisor / Manager. In this role, you will lead a small team, drive workflow efficiencies using BGL's automated ecosystems, and ensure absolute compliance across our fund portfolio.

This is the perfect role for a senior professional who loves optimizing cloud accounting systems and mentoring staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and review the work of a small team.

• BGL 360 Optimization: Oversee the BGL Simple Fund 360 platform, managing data feeds, bank rules, and smart matching to maximize automation.

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and Review annual financial statements, member statements, and SMSF annual returns prepared by the team.

• Audit Management: Manage the end-to-end annual audit process with external auditors via BGL-integrated audit platforms.

• Technical Advice: Act as the internal expert for complex SIS Act, ATO compliance, contribution, and pension queries.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of dedicated SMSF administration experience.

• Software Expertise: Advanced hands-on experience using BGL Simple Fund 360 is essential. Experience with CAS 360 is a major plus.

• Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business. CA/CPA qualification is highly regarded.

• Compliance Knowledge: Thorough understanding of the SIS Act, SMSF regulations, and industry best practices.

• Skills: Excellent communication, strong problem-solving abilities, and a passion for coaching staff.
