Internal Sales Representative – Residential Market

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Internal Sales Representative to join our team and take responsibility for growing and supporting our residential construction market across the DCTech and Proctor Group product ranges.
The successful candidate must have previous experience within the construction industry and have a good understanding of residential building practices, construction products and the customer journey from enquiry through to order.
This is a customer-facing sales role focused on building strong relationships with builders, roofing contractors, insulation installers, building suppliers, merchants, architects, and other residential construction professionals.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage incoming customer enquiries by phone and email.Provide product advice and identify the most suitable solutions for customer requirements.Prepare, issue and follow up quotations to maximise sales conversion.Develop and maintain strong relationships with residential builders, contractors and building suppliers.Proactively contact existing and prospective customers to generate new sales opportunities.Follow up leads, enquiries and quotations in a timely and professional manner.Identify opportunities to increase sales across both DCTech and Proctor product ranges.Maintain and develop a residential sales pipeline.Process sales orders accurately and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth delivery.Provide customers with product information, availability, lead times and basic technical support.Work closely with the State Sales Manager and external sales team to support residential sales growth.Maintain accurate customer and sales information within company systems.Monitor market activity, customer requirements and competitor products.Assist with sales campaigns, product launches and promotional activities.
Construction Industry Experience – Essential
The successful candidate must have proven experience working within the construction industry.
