About the Role

Gourmet Poultry is a premier chicken processor based in Cavan. We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to join our maintenance team. You will service and maintain high-speed automated processing equipment. Your expertise ensures maximum plant safety and minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on high-speed food processing machinery.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical breakdowns quickly.

• Install and commission new plant automated equipment.

• Maintain precise records of all mechanical maintenance.

• Adhere strictly to WHS and food safety regulations.

What We Are Looking For

• Trade Qualification in Mechanical Fitting (required).

• Poultry processing experience is highly preferred.

• Forklift license (LF) is highly preferred.

• Food manufacturing background or strong FMCG experience.

• Strong diagnostic skills in hydraulics and pneumatics.

• Welding capabilities (TIG/MIG stainless steel preferred).

• Flexible approach to operational shift structures.
