About the role
Coldshield is a market leader in the manufacture of commercial and industrial doors. We’re currently seeking an energetic and reliable Trade Assistant to join our production team. This role would suit someone with a trade background who is looking to transition into a factory/production environment.
You’ll play a key role in the assembly and preparation of our industry-leading products. Daily tasks will include:
Preparing and assembling commercial and industrial doors
Cutting and machining aluminium and PVC sheet using CNC equipment (training provided)
Assisting with picking and packing client orders
Learning and applying basic 12/24v wiring (optional training provided)
Using a wide variety of hand and power tools
Above award wages

This role would suit an individual with:
Experience in manufacturing, aluminium, or joinery (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and high-quality workmanship
A current forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
A solid work ethic and team-focused attitude
A commitment to safety, quality, and meeting deadlines
