Senior Service Advisor – Glenelg BMW (Full-Time / OTE $138K)

Glenelg BMW is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our growing Aftersales team.

You don’t necessarily need BMW experience.

The role

As a Service Advisor at Glenelg BMW, you’ll take ownership of your customers from arrival through to vehicle handover.

You’ll work closely with our technicians and workshop leadership team to make sure customers are kept informed, repairs are clearly explained and opportunities identified during the service process are followed through.

Your day will include:

• Managing your own customer portfolio
• Building strong relationships with customers
• Providing proactive vehicle updates throughout the day
• Explaining service, maintenance and repair recommendations
• Identifying and converting additional repair opportunities
• Working closely with technicians and workshop control
• Preparing accurate repair orders and invoices
• Managing customer concerns professionally
• Delivering a premium handover experience
• Contributing to department sales, gross profit and customer satisfaction targets

Who we’re looking for

You may already be a Senior Service Advisor, or you may be a strong Service Advisor ready for your next step.

A minimum of 3 years’ proven automotive Service Advisor experience within a franchised dealership environment is essential.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

• A strong understanding of dealership service operations
• Excellent customer communication skills
• Confidence discussing repair recommendations and costs
• A track record of achieving sales or service targets
• Strong organisation and follow-up habits
• The ability to manage a busy workload without losing sight of the customer
• A positive, accountable and team-focused attitude

Experience with BMW or another prestige brand is advantageous, but it is not essential.
