Formwork Carpenter

Glenview Construction is a leading provider in the construction industry, renowned for our commitment to quality, safety and innovative solutions. We specialise in commercial projects and are looking to expand our talented team.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Formwork Carpenters to join our dynamic team on a FIFO 2:1 Roster. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, renovating, and repairing structures and fixtures using a variety of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications to fabricate and assemble formwork structures.

• Dig out and mark area for concrete

• Calculate, order, and pour concrete as required.

• Select and prepare timbers and materials, ensuring accurate layouts.

• Cut materials using hand and power tools and assemble or nail parts together.

• Erect frameworks, lay subflooring, and verify the trueness of structures.

• Form, erect, pour, and strip concrete structural elements.

• Adhere to all Glenview Constructions health and safety policies and procedures.

• Present yourself in appropriate work attire and in a fit state to perform duties.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications and certifications (Including Working Safely at Heights).

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Formwork role

• White Card

• Driver Licence

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening

• Current Police Clearance
