Manager – Rosehall Aggregation

Summary:

The Manager at Rosehall Aggregation plays a crucial role in supporting the management team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service. Reporting directly to the General Manager, this position is a hands-on position, and essential for maintaining the standards of our business and fostering a positive work environment. The Manager will plan daily activities, manage staff, and implement strategies to enhance productivity, assisting with new project development and infrastructure. Responsibilities:

• Plan and carry out work as per operational plan.
• Carry out all facets of livestock husbandry.
• Supervise and train staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
• Implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance and operational efficiency including leading Work Place Health and Safety initiatives.
• Assist in data entry, feed budgeting and assessing nutritional requirements.
• Manage Biosecurity and weed infestations.
• Manage the maintenance and service of plant and machinery.
• Opportunity for Equine management but not essential.
• Foster a positive team environment and promote effective communication among staff.

Qualifications and Key Attributes:

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience, 2 years in leadership roles.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role,
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient Livestock and farm management
• Degree qualified or Trades highly regarded.
• Curious and life long learner.
• Ability to adapt and apply new technology, ideas and skills.
• Strong organisational skills and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
