Business Development Manager - Property Management

The Role

As a Business Development (BD)Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving growth of the rent roll through the acquisition of high-quality managements.

This is a pure growth role—you’ll focus on building pipeline, winning new business, and scaling a portfolio using a genuinely differentiated offering.

Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new management opportunities through networking, prospecting, referral generation, marketing initiatives, presentations, and other targeted business development activities. You will proactively build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and take ownership of converting opportunities into long-term management agreements.

Success in this role requires strategic planning, strong relationship-building skills, and a comprehensive understanding of the local real estate market, property management services, industry trends, and the competitive landscape. You will be accountable for the following:

• Proactively generate new business through networking, referrals, and targeted prospecting
• Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of landlord opportunities
• Deliver compelling presentations that clearly differentiate our offering
• Develop and execute local area growth strategies
• Stay close to the market—understanding competitors, trends, and client needs

• Proven success in real estate or property management business development
• Minimum 4 years' experience demonstrating BD experience in PM
• Ability to provide a motor vehicle for work use
• Ability to successfully develop and secure new business including canvassing, prospecting and marketing for new business
• Highly capable in building strong client relationships and maintain an excellent customer focus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of real estate law
• Strong administrative skills
• Confident communicator who can build long term credibility
• Self-driven and thrives in a target-driven, growth environment
• Deep understanding of the local property market
