About the Role
You will be based at Concord Repatriation General Hospital, which has provided outstanding healthcare for more than 70 years.

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Technical Assistant to support our Medical and Nursing teams with technical procedures and associated clinical tasks, working under the direction of the Senior Medical Officer and Nursing team. This is a flexible part-time opportunity, with a minimum commitment of one shift per week and the opportunity to pick up additional shifts when available. This role is particularly well suited to medical and/or nursing students seeking part-time employment that offers flexibility around their study commitments.
   
Training & Support
We provide comprehensive onboarding and training to ensure our Technical Assistants develop and maintain the venepuncture and cannulation skills required to perform their duties safely and to a high standard.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in venepuncture and cannulation or willing to undertake appropriate training and credentialing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Availability to work afternoon and evening shifts across a 7-day roster, including 1 in 2 weekends.
