Your Opportunity

Due to continued growth and project wins, RSGX is seeking experienced HV Cable Jointers to join our team where you’ll be working on mission critical, energy, renewable, and utility projects, and under an ETU EBA, carrying out high-voltage cable jointing works across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.
  
As a qualified professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining strong safety and compliance standards, this opportunity will see you performing:

• HV cable jointing and terminations up to 33kV
• Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations
• Conducting fault finding and problem-solving on HV cable systems
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation of completed work
• And adhering to all company and site-specific safety procedures

About you

You are a reliable and skilled HV cable jointer who can take initiative, manage their workload effectively, and contribute positively to project outcomes. Bringing a proactive approach to safety, quality, and continuous improvement is essential. Your skills & experience include.

• Proven experience in HV cable jointing.
• Cert 3 ESI Distribution Cable Jointing (highly regarded).
• Experience working with HSL and PILC cables (advantageous).
• Familiarity with VLF cable testing (advantageous).
• A Grade Electrician licence (desirable)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
• VESI accreditation highly desirable.
• High risk tickets desirable.
